CLIFFORD LeROY TESDAHL, JR., 71, Deming resident passed away Friday June 10, 2016 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home.
He was born February 9, 1945 in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Margaret June Burgess and Clifford Tesdahl. Clifford worked as a machinist and had been a Deming resident for 9 years coming from Northwood, Iowa. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Deming Lodge #12 AF & AM, Shriners Club of Deming, Ruth Chapter #6, Order of the Eastern Star and the National Rifle Association. Clifford’s hobbies were woodworking, locksmithing and shooting guns.
Survivors include, his wife, Darlene Tesdahl of the home; 2 sons, John Tesdahl of Mason City, Iowa, Paul Tesdahl and Missy of Rochester, Minnesota; 2 daughters, Deann Lewman and husband Rex of Rudd, Iowa, Linda Einertson and husband Troy of Northwood, Iowa; 2 brothers, Lauren and wife Judy of Fairmont, Minnesota, Lonny Tesdahl and wife Cara of Bryon, Minnosta; sister, Linda Miller of Mankato, Minnesota; 7 grandchildren, Jessica, Jermey, Jacklyn, Joshua, Josie, Kylissa, Adrianna and 2 step-grandchildren, Brandon and Alex and step-grandson Jerod.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Margaret Tesdahl; brother, Garry Tesdahl; 2 brother-in-laws, James Zilka, Al Miller and 2 nephews, Lonny Allen and William Tesdahl.
