Clifford Leslie Cole was born on March 11, 1943 to Albert William Cole and Nellie Marie Marsh (Cole) in Read, Colorado. He grew up in Read and attended elementary school there. He married Joyce Ann Swank on December 18, 1960 in Delta, Colorado. They had 6 children. He passed away peacefully at his home in Clifton, Colorado, on August 11, 2013; surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Nellie Cole, two sisters; Betty Peet, Gladys Rose, one brother, Albert Dwayne, and one grand-daughter, Mackenzie.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Cole of Clifton, Colorado. Four sons, Leslie (Linda, wife) of Clifton, Colorado, Brent (Laurie, wife) of Palisade, Colorado, Cliff (Debbie, wife) of Mesquite, Nevada and Justin (Lana, wife) of Grand Junction, Colorado. Two daughters, Jolene Hovis (Kelly, husband) of Clifton, Colorado and Julie Larsen (John, husband) of Grand Junction, Colorado, 16 grand-children, 2 great-grand-children, as well as brothers and sisters; Alfred Cole, Larry Cole, and Carrie Williams of Grand Junction, Colorado, Marvin of Mesa, Colorado, Carma Turner of Benton, Arkansas, Sheryln Smith of Durango, Colorado and many beloved brethren and friends.
He will be greatly missed, until we meet again.
