Clifford E. Hamm, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012 surrounded by his family.

He was born January 16, 1930 in Paint Lick, KY to Dillard and Clara (Hall) Hamm. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Cliff owned and ran several businesses throughout his life including Cliff’s Truck Center in Greenfield, McCordsville Sales & Service, and Eastside Service Center in Indianapolis.

His most recent position was Director of Maintenance for Pennsylvania Truck Lines, where he worked until 1992. He is survived by his children: Erlene “JoJo” Steinhilber; Cliff E. (Sandra) Hamm; Wanda S. (Jeff) Wallace; and Ray W. Hamm – all of Indianapolis; brothers Ray (Sue) Hamm of Fortville and Cecil (Judy) Hamm of Mt. Comfort; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson.
