Clifford Donald Ray Jr., age 72, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away March 10, 2023 at his home in Stromsburg under hospice care.
On March 23, 1996 he was united in marriage to Florence Kay Hessheimer in York, Nebraska.
Cliff was a volunteer at the food bank and enjoyed painting, ceramics, collecting marbles, Hot Wheels, Coca-Cola items, and antiques. He also enjoyed reading, watching westerns, camping, fishing and he loved animals.
Survivors include his wife Florence of Stromsburg; daughter Lisa (Troy) England of Lincoln, son Kaleb Joshua Ray of Omaha, daughter Donna Lynn Roddam of Texas and son Clifford Donald Ray III of Texas; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Francis of York, Donna Jackson of Lincoln, Margaret Abbott of Lincoln, Jane Dominquez of Lincoln and Mary Kinney of Lincoln; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son; brothers Denver Ray and Tommy Ray; great grandson; aunts and uncles.
