Clifford (Cliff) Van Poucke, 90, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on March 3, 2021 with his family by his side.  Cliff was born January 14, 1931 in Aurora, IL. He was a lifetime member of the PGA as well as the Shriners. A veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. Cliff started as a caddy, then became the head Golf Professional and then was promoted to General Manager of the former Woodridge Golf Course in Lisle, Illinois from 1947 to 1989, holding the course record for 12 years. He was a former partner owner of Lost Nations Golf Course in Dixon, IL as well as the former owner of Apache Sun in Queen Creek, AZ from 1988 to 2005. Cliff is survived by his wife, Muriel of 63 years. They had 5 children son, Rory (Kim), Mark (deceased), daughters, Lori (Tom), Tammy (Michael) and Lisa (Dave), His sister Joyce Friedman, brothers, Les (deceased), Fred (deceased), Harry (deceased), Roy (deceased) and ten grand-children, Brett, Brittany, Blake, Kelsey, Cody, Rachel, Jaclyn, Jack, Graham and Madison, as well as several nieces and nephews. Other than playing golf, Cliff also enjoyed playing billiards and spending time with his family.
