Cleo M. Berger, age 89, of Brayton, Iowa, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at the Exira Care Center, Exira, Iowa.
Cleo was born August 19, 1931, in Scranton, IA, son of Mathias and Rose (Hoffman) Berger. He attended school in Carroll County. He enlisted in the United States Army on December 1, 1952, and was honorably discharged on November 30, 1954. Cleo served in the Korean War as a machine gun operator.
After his enlistment in the United States Army, Cleo turned to the craftsmanship of all types of floor installation. For over 58 years, Cleo laid carpet and other floorings for many people.
