Clemit R. Harris, 80, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at his home on Welcome-Arnco Road. He was born September 27, 1929 in Carroll County, GA to the late Lee Roy Harris & Corena Rogers Harris.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Hazel Jones and Christine Calhoun Early.
Mr. Harris was a mainstay in the Arnco community and was a strong shoulder and helping hand for many.
Clemit is survived by his wife, Peggy Turner Harris of Newnan; daughters, Brenda (Don) Pratt of Newnan, Sharon (Luke) Thompson of Newnan; grandchildren, Julie Pratt, Jordan Pratt, Robert Pratt, Nicole (Cory) Peterson, Derek (Amanda) Thompson, Mallory Thompson; great-grandchildren, Aubree Peterson and Sylas Thompson
