Clements S. Clem Fisher, 88, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 1:45am Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born on February 9, 1918 to the late Zygmund Joseph and Katherine (Blaszczak) Fisher in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. Along with his parents; one sister, Regina Wisniewski also preceded him in death.

Mr. Fisher was retired from South Bend Lathe. Previous to that, he worked at Studebaker Corporation.

On January 18, 1945, he married Helen J. Winter at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. Helen, who was a devoted wife and mother for 38 years, preceded him in death on December 7, 1983.

Clements is survived by his loving sweetheart of 23 years, Ann H. Menn of South Bend, IN; two sons, Lawrence W. Larry Fisher of South Bend, IN; Richard M. Rick Fisher of South Bend, IN; four grandchildren, Richard M. Fisher II, Steven M. Fisher, Melissa A. Fisher, Jessica J. Fisher; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Eileen Rybicki of South Bend, IN.

Mr. Fisher was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Parish; American Legion Post #357; and an Army Veteran of World War II. He enjoyed music and played both the drums and accordion. Clement was an avid gardener and all around handyman. He enjoyed traveling and winter vacationing in Florida.
