South Bend – Clementine A. Henclewski, 96, passed away peacefully on January 27, at Wood Ridge Assisted Living Facility. She was born in South Bend on January 1, 1918, to the late Louis and Sophie Radecki. She married Francis S. Henclewski in 1941 at St. Stanislaus B.M. Catholic Church, where they both were life-long members. Clementine spent her life as a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She is survived by her daughters; Marcia (Dean) Graveel of Alexandria, IN and Corinne (Marcus) Jackson of Leawood, KS. Also surviving are her grandsons, Dean Jr. (Kathleen) Graveel of Noblesville, IN, Darren (Charla) Graveel of Stockton, CA and Daniel (Christina) Graveel of St. Petersburg, FL; her great-granddaughters, Gabrielle and Grace Graveel; and by several loyal nieces and nephews. Clementine was preceded in death by her husband, Francis, her sisters: Violet Bednarek, Sister M. Perseverance and Sister M. Grace; her brothers; Walter, Leo, Stephen and Bernard and by a grandson, Dale Graveel. Her daughters would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Wood Ridge Assisted Living Facility for the kind and compassionate care of our mother. Also, thanks to the care givers of Home Instead Senior Care and to Harbor Light Hospice.
