Mantie, 94, of Middletown, beloved husband of Burnice “B” (Hawley) Mantie for 68 years, passed away on Sunday, October 10th at Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Middletown. Born in Hartford, he was the son of the late Herman J. and Edith M. (Grant) Mantie. Clayton was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corp and stationed in England.
