Clayton Merwin Boughfman Age 92 of Owosso passed away Monday, May 16, 2022 at McLaren- Flint.A memorial service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, June 30, 2022 at First Church of Christ, 585 East North Street, Owosso. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.Clayton was born June 23, 1929 in Owosso, the son of Clayton and Irma (Crawford) Boughfman.He graduated from Owosso High School, class of 1948 and proudly served in the United States Army.Clayton was a member of the Corunna V.F.W. #4005. He enjoyed tending to his yard and had a love for gardening.He married Patricia Joyce Beal in Frankfort on June 24, 1956.Clayton was a life long farmer and retired from General Motors after 38 years of service.Clayton is survived by his wife; son Merwin (Laurie) Boughfman; daughter Mary (Webb) Sommer; grandchildren Nolan, Brian and Alan Esser and Justin and Tyler Sommer; sister Marilyn (Dean) Batchelor; other loving family and friends.He was predeceased by his parents.Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.Online condolences may be sent to the family at Nelson-House.com.
