Mr. King was born on August 3, 1956 to the late Foy and Margaret King in Durham, NC. Clay was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church. He loved animals, and to fish and hunt. In his free time, he enjoyed going on walks, woodworking and yard work. Clay loved his family and his dog, Miss Minni, and loved spending time with them.
Mr. King is survived by is wife, Wanda Holmes King; son, Joshua D. King of Durham, NC; brothers, Foy G. King, Jr. (Sybil), of Siler City, NC, George H. King (Linda) of Walkertown, NC, and A. Clinton King (Janice) of Timberlake, NC.
