Clay Andrew Sytsma passed away on July 20, 2008. He was born on February 25, 1989 to Carol (Barnum) and Richard “Rick” Sytsma, both survive.
Clay was a 2007 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School. Member of Cross Roads Church. He was employed at Sealy Spring in Rensselaer and he was an avid outdoors man enjoying hunting, fishing and trapping.
He is survived by his father, Richard “Rick” (Dawn) Sytsma, DeMotte, IN Mother, Carol (Kevin) Barnum, Crown Point, IN Brother, Charles Enright, IN Sisters, Erin (Randy) Smith and Sarah Sytsma both of DeMotte, IN and Amber (Dustin) Padilla, South Haven, Miss; Emily & Grace Barnum, Crown Point, IN Paternal grandparents, Andrew & Jacoba Sytsma, DeMotte, IN Maternal grandparents, Carol (Harold) Shipman, Hebron, IN Grandparents, Edward & Jean Ann Barnum, Allegan, MI Niece, Paige Smith Several aunts, uncles & cousins.
Preceded in death by Maternal Grandfather, Carl Darnell.
