Claudine J. Greene Reed, age 83, of Huntsville passed away on Thursday March 3, 2011 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mrs. Reed is preceded in death by her husband, Joe F. Reed, Sr., and her parents, John Brooks and Claudie Brickey Greene. She has been a resident of Huntsville since 1965. In her later years, Mrs. Reed enjoyed working with the people at the Neighborhood Store on University Dr. in Huntsville.
Mrs. Reed is survived by her daughter, Karen J. Pinion of Huntsville; her son, Joe F. Reed, Jr. and wife Janice of Huntsville; her sisters, Jacqueline G. Decker of Austin, TX, and Billiejean Shackelford of Huntsville; her grandsons, Matthew B. Reed, Michael A. Reed and wife Rebekah, and Nathan J. Reed and wife Nicole, all of Huntsville; her granddaughter, Stacey B. Penton and husband Ryan of Huntsville; her great grandchildren, Caroline, Jenna, Braden, Natalie, and Brody Reed, all of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
