Claudette passed away early Sunday morning, April 30, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center. She was born on September 9, 1934 in Deering, MO, the daughter of the late Claude and Dora (Riddle) Trowbridge. On May 18, 1957, she was united in marriage to Elbert W. Prevatte.
Claudette was employed by Gibson Guitar for 28 years until her retirement in 1984. Surviving are 3 daughters: Karen Hampton, Janet Pankey and Susan Howard; daughter-in-law: Kathy Prevatte; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Nancy Walters, Mary Williams, and Carol Rivera; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 53 years: Elbert; son: Bill; 4 sisters: Naomi Matrau, Mildred Fardello, Nellie Smith and Geneva Kinnison; 2 brothers: Claude Jr. and Donald Trowbridge; and 1 grandson.
