Claudette R. Charlton, 66 of Centralia, passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. She was born October 23, 1949, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of Richard Miller and Hazel (Henson) Miller.

She married Hubert A. Charlton on August 21, 1984, and he survives in Centralia.

In addition to her husband of 31 years, she is also survived by a son, James M. Miller and wife Kim of Centralia; two daughters: Tia Lisa Lynn Skurat and husband Johnny Lee of Junction City and Roberta Leforce of Centralia; six grandchildren: Keith A. Charlton, Cheryl Howe, Kierra Jones, Bailey Charlton, Michael J. Miller, and Sincere Q. Charlton; one great-grandchild, Keeiyah Campbell; two brothers: Ralph E. Miller of Missouri and Dale Miller of Arkansas; a sister, Merry Miller of Missouri; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Claudette was a member of the Centralia Moose Lodge. She worked at Walmart here in Centralia for many years. She loved reading. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends.
