Claude “Sid” Winchell Jr., 87, of Atlantic, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at the Heritage House in Atlantic.
Sid was born May 20, 1933, on a farm a mile southwest of Rippey, Iowa, to Claude and Nellie (Cody) Winchell.
He lived in Jefferson, IA for a short time then moved to Carroll, IA, after which he moved to Atlantic, IA, in 1962 and lived there the rest of his life. He married Milli Brooke in 1958 in Grand Junction, IA, and she passed away in 1978.
