Claude Albert Wiseman
Claude Albert Wiseman, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016. He was born on August 27, 1931, in Umatilla, Oregon, a son of Lucius Sylvester Wiseman and Margaret Moody. He was lovingly raised by his step-father Marion Edward Milton and his mother.
He was raised in Pendelton, Oregon, graduating from Pendelton High School. Claude faithfully served his country in the U.S. Air Force, serving in Germany, England, Japan, and Thailand.
Claude married the love of his life Nona Shaw, on January 3, 1958 in North Ogden, Utah. One year later their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They spent 58 wonderful years together.
Claude was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was involved as a Boy Scout Leader, and served as a Temple Worker in the Ogden Temple.
He was the owner and operator of Metro Heating. He enjoyed travelling, and loved spending time with his family, including his extended family. Dad was a true patriot to his country, and loyal to his church and his family. He devoted his life to supporting and raising his five sons with Nona.
Claude is survived by his wife Nona, his sons, Brian (Dawn) Wiseman, Bruce Wiseman, Brendan (Synthia) Wiseman, 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and one sister-in-law Rose Mary Wiseman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Brett and Bradley.
