Clark Colbert Harrell, 78, of Mt. Olive passed away Thursday morning at home. He is the son of the late Milford and Ruth Kornegay Harrell and was the husband of Hilda T. Harrell. Clark was a member of Thunder Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church serving as the current treasurer. He loved old cars especially Fords. Along with his love for cars, Clark was a racing fan.
In addition to his wife of 37 years, Clark is survived by his sons, Clark Harrell Jr. of Charlotte, Bryan Harrell and wife Stephanie of Kinston, and Brandon Harrell of Grifton; a sister Betty Yount and husband Dr. William Yount of Durham; grandchildren, Allana Caufield, Clark Harrell III, Brent Harrell, Dylan Harrell, Faith Harrell, Olivia Harrell, and Brooks Harrell; his lunch buddies, Butch Parker, Jimmy Jones, Don Holland, Reggie Hines, and Dwight Lockamy; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Clark was preceded in death by brothers, Gordon and Jordan Harrell.
