Clarisse M. Anastasio, age 69, of West Haven died on December 15, 2011, after a brief battle with cancer. Clarisse was born in New Haven on May 12, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Levant and Edith (Zandri) Carboni. She was the loving wife of Dr. Andrew Anastasio and mother of Andrea Anastasio of Boston, MA. She grew up in New Haven and graduated from Sacred Heart Elementary School and Hillhouse High School. Clarisse was employed by the former First New Haven Bank, but devoted the majority of her life to the loving care of her husband and daughter. Throughout her life, Clarisse touched all she met with her kindness, generosity and genuine desire to put the needs of others before her own. She was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her brother Edward Carboni of West Haven, and her sister Laurel Care of Tampa, FL.
