Clarence William Stroble, 89, of Fountain Hill and lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, passed away on Thursday, August 15th at St. Luke’s Hosptial-Fountain Hill. He was the husband of Anna M. (Rabel) Stroble for over 63 years.
He served his country honorably with the U.S. Army during WW II.
Clarence worked at Bethlehem Steel as a blast furnace supervisor for 40 years until retiring.
He was a member of St. Ursula Catholic Church, Fountain Hill. Clarence was also an avid bowler and member of the United Steelworkers Union.
Surviving: in addition to his wife; son, David M.; daughter, Anita L. Recchia and husband Tony all of Bethlehem; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by sister, Rosemarie Younger, brothers, Frank and William.
