Was born on October 11, 1947 and passed away March 4th, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Vernon and Agnes Northrup, sister Nancy and husband Jerry McMillan, of Beaumont, children Caitlin Northrup and Daniel Northrup of California, niece Kelsey McMillan Rowe and husband Zach of Indiana, Patti Geolat and numerous friends in the Dallas area and throughout the world. He was especially close to the members of the Prestonwood Rotary Club and Rotary International. Van served his country in Vietnam, in the 101st Airborne Division, receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
