Clarence A. Reppin, 94, of Peru, passed away February 23, 2015 at Heritage Health in LaSalle.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Peru with Rev. Timothy Kenyon, pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery in Mendota with full military rites conducted by the Ladd American Legion. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Peru.

Mr. Reppin was born on June 18, 1920 in Mendota to Arthur and Ruth (Jones) Reppin. He married Helen Shannon on June 19, 1941 in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mendota. He served in the Army during WWII in the 75th Division. Clarence retired from Milwaukee Railroad as conductor. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Peru, Peru VFW and Ladd American Legion. He is survived by his wife, Helen of Peru; two daughters, Judith M. Zywica of Peru and Constance (Barney) Prow of Ellenton, FL; and one son, James (Paula) Reppin of Palm Harbor, FL; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carolyn Hetrick of Lostant. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Dorothy Rapp and Clara Teeters; and three brothers Edward, Arthur and William Reppin.
