Mr. Locke attended Muncie City Schools. Bud married the love of his life, Harriett “Jeannie” (Winn) Locke on June 3, 1952 in Muncie and she survives. He worked as a Truck Driver and Welder for the Norfolk & Southern Railroad and then worked for CARQUEST Auto Parts as a Delivery Driver. Mr. Locke was a member of the Full Gospel Temple. He spent 78 years living his life to the fullest which usually meant harassing his kids and grandkids and spoiling his beloved pet dog, Foxy Baby.
Besides his wife of 60 years, Jeannie, he is survived by his four children, Ronald Locke (wife-Jenny), Muncie, Debbie Biby (husband-Randy), Daleville, Rodney Locke (wife-Patsy), Muncie and Rick Locke (wife-Lynn), Muncie; 20 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Locke, Muncie; two sisters, Rosie Storms and Wanda Helton (husband-Rev. Denny), both of Muncie; two brothers, Jim and Henry Locke, both of Muncie; numerous nieces and nephews; special relatives, Forest Storms (wife-Sandy) and Chris Snider (wife-Julie), both of Muncie; special friend, Phil Weans, Muncie.
He was preceded in death by his son, Randy Locke in 2005; his parents; one sister, Robin Stader.
