CLARENCE PAUL CORLE, SR., CPO, USN (Ret.) age 79 of Manassas, Virginia died Wednesday, June 11, 2003 at Dewitt Army Hospital, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Mr. Corle was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Manassas, The American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans and was a World War II veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre from 1942-1945 and a Korean veteran. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and the outdoors. After retirement from the Navy in 1964, he was employed with the U.S. Treasury Department having retired in 1986. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Corle, Sr. and Anna Latoche Corle. Survivors include his former wife, Christine Corle Wills, of Manassas, Virginia, three children, Jack Dennis and his wife, Cindy of Altoona, Pennsylvania, Clarence P. Corle, Jr. and his wife, Sue of Bealeton, Virginia and Robin Diane Bast, of Manassas, Virginia; one sister, Viola Corle and one brother, Alvin Corle, Jr., both of Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
