Junior passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. He was born on September 20, 1927 in Kalamazoo, MI a son of Clare and Lucille (Ritter) Harington and grew up in Watervliet. Junior served in the us Navy during WWII. He was proud of his time as a reserve deputy with the Kalamazoo County Sherriff and Kalamazoo Township Police Departments. Junior worked for Durametallic Corporation in Kalamazoo for over 20 years. Being a member of Plainwell Church of Christ was important to him and was a big part of his life. In his free time, Junior enjoyed fishing, camping and working on old cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Melford Harrington and a sister-in-law, Jean Harrington. Junior is survived by a son, Mike (Kathy Whitney) Harrington, grandson, Shane Harrington and a brother, Ken Harrington.
