Clara Mae Bradshaw, 92, of Jacksonville, IL died Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Barton W. Stone Home in Jacksonville.
She was born May 4, 1916 in Murrayville, IL; the daughter of F. Victor and Lula Mae Sweeney McAlister.
She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Ann Lawson (husband, Lawrence) of Tucson, AZ and Pat Manker of South Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Chris Trueblood (husband, Randy) of Tucson, AZ, Pam Lawson of Marana, AZ, Brad Manker of Chicago, and Tyson Manker of South Jacksonville; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Tori Hulland of Marana, AZ; a brother, George William â??Billâ? McAlister of Springfield; a niece; and a nephew. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin Lawson.
Mrs. Bradshaw was a 1933 graduate of Jacksonville High School. She worked in the office at J. Capps and Sons for several years and later worked in the family business, B & M Floor Covering, for many years. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star.
