Clara Lewis, age 84, of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Georgetown Community Hospital.
Born November 27, 1932, in Mansfield, Illinois, she was a daughter of the late Laef and Ivory Perry Lewis. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Lee Lewis; one brother, Raymond Lewis, and two sisters, Bernice Blankenship and Audrey Hicks.
She is survived by one son, Danny Ray Lewis of Georgetown; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a special niece, Linda Mullins. She also leaves behind extended family and friends.
Clara was a homemaker, an employee of the Holiday Inn in Lexington for 16 years, and enjoyed puzzle books, Solitaire, and walking.
