Clara Elizabeth Singleton
Clara Elizabeth Singleton, 80, passed away on February 7, 2016. She was born September 4, 1935 in Aurora, Colorado to Bridget Weigel and Joe Weaver. She was a graduate of Tempe Union High School. She married her sweetheart, Robert Leonard Singleton, on July 18, 1955.
Clara was a member of the Catholic Church and active in St. Mary’s Parish. She was a Eucharistic Minister and was named Catholic Woman of the year. She worked as a housekeeper at St. James Rectory and St. Joseph’s Rectory until her retirement.
She enjoyed being with her family and scrapbooking.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Tammie) of Roy, Gary (Michelle) of Harrisville, Dennis (Tauni) of California, Wayne (Lynette) of Plain City and Mary (Chad) Strebel of Georgia; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Joe and Ed.
