Claire Rose Smith, 91, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Manor Care Health Center, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Smith. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late George and Martha (Leuthe) Ettinger. She was a founding member of Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church, where she was active in the choir and the sewing group. She greatly enjoyed being with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors: daughters Gail Winson of Westbrook, ME, Marjorie Bagenstose and her husband Scott of Catasauqua, Audrey Simpson and her husband Ken of Wichita, KS; sister Carolyn Wasilewski of Simpsonville, SC; brother Robert Ettinger of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren Joseph Simpson, April Tramonte, Todd Bagenstose, Holly Bryson; 9 great-grandchildren.
