Claire O. Sheridan Claire O. Sheridan of Delran, formerly of Burlington died Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Power-back Rehabilitation Center in Moorestown. She was 70. Born in Woodbury, N.J., Claire was a longtime Burlington resident before moving to Delran. She was a 1967 graduate of Rowan University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in education.
She was an elementary school teacher in Camden for 33 years until her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Neptune Hose Co. No. 5 in Burlington City. Claire was always on the go and enjoyed traveling, particularly to the ocean, which she loved. She loved her family, particularly her grandson. Claire is survived by her husband of 46 years, Arthur Sheridan Sr.; her son, Arthur Sheridan Jr.; daughter, Diane Sheridan; grandson, Daniel; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family members.
