Cindy Marie Kelley, the daughter of Charles Edgar and Melva May (Palmer) Kelley, was born on June 29, 1954 in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Des Moines North High School in 1973. In 1976 Cindy married James Braman in Des Moines at her sister Shirley’s house. They were later divorced and Cindy married Archie Sorensen in 1987. They were divorced in 1999. Cindy had worked at Boyt Harnessing as an assembler. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Algona were she was baptized on December 31, 2002. Cindy enjoyed her grandchildren and family, talking on the phone, flowers, collecting Angels, cooking, camping and singing.
Left to cherish Cindy’s memory are her children, Charles Braman of Algona, Melissa Cavin and her husband Fred of Titonka and Michael Braman and his wife Kelley of Knoxville; twenty grandchildren; a brother, Jim Kelley and his wife Jody of Bondurant; and a sister-in-law, Donna Kelley of Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Arthur Rouse; a sister, Shirley Barnett; brothers, Larry, Dan, Melvin and Buddy Kelley; and a daughter-in-law, Tiffany Braman.
