Cindy K. (Wheeler) Langley, age 59, of Kokomo, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020. Cindy was born in Kokomo December 23, 1960 to her parents, Frank & Patsy (Patterson) Wheeler.
Cindy graduated from Hayworth High School in the class of 1979. After high school she worked as a migrant worker, traveling around the southern states to harvest tomatoes, oranges, and strawberries. She retired from Village Pantry where she worked for many years.
Cindy was a hard-working woman. She made sure her son, Tracy, never went without. She was a deeply devoted mother. Cindy’s love for Tracy never wavered, she was extremely proud of him. While Tracy was her only biological child, she was known as Mom to many. She always took care of those that were around her and “mothered” them as if they were her own. Cindy’s kindness impacted many lives and her kindness will live on through them.
Those left to carry on Cindy’s legacy of love are her Son Tracy Langley; Step-Daughter Angie Brown; Brother’s Mike Wheeler, Robby (Leann) Wheeler, and William Wheeler; Sister’s Trish (Tom) Porter, and Susan Wheeler; and several nieces and nephews.
Cindy’s family would like to thank the care she received from the wonderful staff at North Woods Village.
