Muncie – Chuck R.
Chuck was born in Muncie on December 29, 1962 the son of Charles R. and Mable (Barrett) Hammond, Sr., and was a 1981 graduate of Muncie Central High School.
Mr. Hammond worked for over twenty years as a supervisor in the sign shop at Delaware County Highway Department. He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to music, and he loved animals. Chuck also enjoyed sports.
Survivors include his mother, two daughters, Gretchen Fields, (husband-Aaron), Muncie, and Caitie Noller, Yorktown; two sisters, Debbie Schwebach, (husband-Sam), Derby, Kansas, and Sherrell Johnston, (husband-James), Mt. Summit; a special friend, Scott Bright, Muncie; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Babes.
He was preceded in death by his father, and a sister, Penny Hammond.
