Christopher James Clayton, 28, of Middletown, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 18th at home. Born on January 11, 1980 in Hartford, he was the son of Robert F. and Katherine (Drajewicz) Clayton. Chris lived all his life in Middletown with his parents and his dog, Jaclyn and also attended local schools there. He lived a happy and full life with many friends and relatives. He had an infectious smile, was always bubbly, happy and content which delighted all who knew him. He loved his family, extended family, friends, his dog and music. Chris was a joy to all who knew and loved him. Besides his parents, he is survived by a maternal grandmother, Marion Drajewicz of Chester and paternal grandparents, Robert G. and Antoinette Clayton of Middletown and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Stan “Drake” Drajewicz.
