Christopher C. Bibby, 60, entered into peaceful sleep on July 5, 2014 at the Capital Health Care Center in Trenton, NJ. He was born February 6, 1954 to Alfred and Eleanor Bibby at Fitkin Hospital, Neptune, NJ.
Chris, also nicknamed “Rock”, was a caring person to family and friends. He was educated in the Asbury Park, NJ School System. Chris was employed with Just Born Candy Company, Asbury Park, NJ. He later started his own business, B & B Construction Company, and was very successful.
He was predeceased by his two brothers, Samuel and Alfred Russell; and two nieces, Kim and Theodora “Teddy” Henderson. He is survived by his six sons, Karriem Ferreira, Christopher Smith, Jamar, Tyron, Tyreek and Tyshan Small; three daughters, Kiesha Lastrapes, Moneak and Teisha Small of
Asbury Park; nine grandchildren; two god daughters, Lenea and La’Ronda; two brothers, Phillip (Lillian) of California, and Sule Osei of Asbury Park, NJ; sister, Gwendolyn (David Smith) of Asbury Park, NJ; three nephews, Tyrek (Lelia) Henderson, Tyshon H, and Markim Purvis; seven nieces, Wallicia “Bibby” Butler, Tomika Crockett, Donna Smith, Myasia and Maleeka Purvis, Nadira and Kaisha Henderson; 9 great-nieces; special friends, Lucy Small and Roslyn White; and a host of nephews, cousins, friends aunts and uncles.
