Christopher A. Shorpshire, the son of William Shropshire and Mary Frances Shropshire, was born May 15, 1959, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
A life-long Indianapolis resident, Christopher received his education in the Indianapolis Public School System.
Christopher professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized.
Having an entrepreneurial desire, Christopher had worked briefly for several local companies before venturing out on his own to become a handyman. He challenged his energies in this profession until he became disabled and was no longer able to work.
A “free spirited” person, Chris, as he was affectionately known, loved people. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. Kind and generous by nature, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.Well-loved by those in his community, he touched the lives of those too numerous to mention and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Christopher A. Shropshire departed this life on July 22, 2019, at the age of sixty years, two months and seven days.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Mary Frances Shropshire; sisters, Deborah Ward (Rev. Harold), Kimberly Garnett and La Donna Shropshire; brothers, Michael Shropshire (Tamara), Ronald Shropshire (Brenda) and Leonard Shropshire; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and a community of friends.
