Christine S. (Kwiecinski) Banicki of Sandy Brook Drive, formally of King Street passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 8:50 AM surrounded by family members. Christine was born on May 30, 1921 to the late Martin and Alice (Kaczmarek) Kwiecinski.
She married her loving husband of 33 years, Bernard Banicki on September 18, 1943 in South Bend, IN. He preceded her in death in 1977.

Christine is survived by three daughters, Maryalice (Ken) Miller of South Bend, IN, Teri (Skip) Ray of Lake Panasoffkee, FL and Robbie Brinley of South Bend, IN; a son, Martin V. Banicki of South Bend, IN; three sisters, Delores Kwiecinski, Lorie Wroblewski and Arlene (Pete) Spitz all of South Bend, IN; two brothers, Marvin (Mary Ann) Kwiecinski and Ron (Barbara) Kwiecinski of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Steven (Gail) Miller of South Bend, IN, Dan (Becky) Miller of Walkerton, IN, Vincent Banicki of New River, NC, Chip (Nicol) Ray of Webster, FL, Joe (Ashley) Ray of Lake Panasoffkee, FL, Scott (Melaney) Horvath and Tina Horvath of South Bend, IN, Wilson Brinley of Annapolis, MD, Kristi Brinley of Chicago, IL, and Carly and Chad Brinley of South Bend, IN. A daughter, Karen Banicki Patton and siblings, Margaret Kwiecinski, Zenobia Krych, Larry Kwiecinski and Edward Kwiecinski preceded her in death.

Christine was a secretary all her life working at Studebakers, Bendix and then retiring from Adult Education in the South Bend Community School Corporation in 1988.

She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Stanislaus B.M. Church. A member of the rosary society of St. Hedwig’s Church and belonged to the Women of the Moose.
