Christine May Goodman, 66, a resident of Rupert, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the Countryside Care and Rehab in Rupert.

Chris was born on November 25, 1954 at Rupert, Idaho. She was a daughter of William T. “Bill” Goodman and Norma J. Goodman. She graduated from Minico High School in 1973. She attended the University of Utah and lived in Salt Lake City, Utah until 2015 when her companion and caregiver, Rachel “Jordan” Martinez passed away. Chris returned to Rupert in 2015 and resided at the Countryside Care Facility until her death.

She was intelligent and outspoken (occasionally to her detriment). She loved to travel. She was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in her late 20s and the disease continued to plague her for the remainder of her lifetime. Despite the debilitating illness, she continued to travel and donate her time and resources to causes dear to her heart.

She was preceded in death by her companion – Rachel; her mother – Norma; and her aunt – Noreen Fry.

She is survived by her father – Bill; her brothers – Tom (Pam McClung) Goodman and Alan (Peggy) Goodman; her nephews – Rob Goodman and Scott (Maria) Goodman and Scott and Maria’s children – Caitlyn and Kyle; her uncle – Jack Fry; and her cousins – Jacki Miranda, Bob Fry and Patty Fry.

On behalf of Chris, the family would like to thank Countryside Care for the compassion and care provided to her until her passing.
