Christine L. Stanton, 51, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at her home. Born in New Britain, daughter of Thomas and Carol (Fowler) Stanton of Old Lyme, she was a resident of Southington and later New Britain. She was happiest at the beach and in the garden. Along with her parents, she is survived by her two sons, Justin Ryan Desjardins and Kurt Riley Desjardins of New Britain, her brother Mark Stanton and his wife Robin DePinto of New Britain and her sister Brenda Boone of Niantic. She is also survived by over twenty nieces and nephews.
