Mrs. Christine Watts, 80, a resident of 400 N. Main St., #609, died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro.
Mrs. Watts was born October 17, 1924 in Wake County, a daughter of the late Willie Leroy and Lizzie Johnson Hartsfield. Coming from Raleigh, she lived most of her adult life in High Point, where she was a former member of St. Stephen A.M.E. Zion Church.
Surviving relatives include three sons, Jimmie (Katina) Watts, of Thomasville, Roy Watts, and Fredrick (Cynthia) Watts, all of High Point; three daughters, Jacqueline Harrington, Sandra (Howard) Austin, all of High Point, and Susan (William) Hairston, of Greensboro; nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Giles, of Pittsburgh, Penna., and Doris Saunders, of Camden, N.J.; a host of other relatives and friends.
