Christine was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on February 26, 1975. Christine’s heroic, valiant and resilient fight against brain cancer ended at her home on December 17th, 2015.

Christine and her husband Sean met in Tucson while in middle school and dated since they were in high school. Many say that high school sweethearts do not exist nor can they persevere. Christine and Sean clearly proved that theory wrong. Christine had a passion for collecting antiques and decorating her home with treasures she’d find at auctions. She was an avid fisherwoman, and hunter and loved the outdoors. Christine also enjoyed having a glass of wine with her closest friends while playing games. However, her greatest passion was the enjoyment of watching her daughter McKenna (and all HER girls) play fastpitch softball. Go Inferno and Coconino Lady Panthers! Christine graduated from Northern Arizona University in December 2000 with a bachelor’s of science in Accounting. At every job, she was blessed with so many friendships. She also felt truly honored to be able to be home and raise her daughter full time. Prior to a second diagnosis two years ago Christine, family, and friends hosted a Celebration of Life Party. So, in usual Christine fashion, she insisted the party be used as an avenue to help another family through the Shadows Foundation. Christine embodied what many of us strive to have. A strong moral fabric, compassion for others, an understanding of what it takes to give back to the community, a loving husband, and a beautiful daughter that clearly emulate these same characteristics. From the Catalina and Sana Rita Mountains and all of Pinal County to the Kaibab Plateau and the backdrop of Humphries Summit, Christine’s strength, positive approach to life, humor, and dedication to the family has cast a wide and joyful net that we all welcomed and are blessed to be under.

Christine is survived by her immediate family, husband Sean Gladden, and her daughter McKenna Gladden both of Flagstaff. Sister, Marleen Eggers of Dallas, TX, Brother, L.J. Perry of Denver, Colorado, Sister, Katie Wentz of Denver, Colorado, and Mother Kathy Conlin of Denver, Colorado.
