Christina Gerking, 91, of Indianapolis passed away on February 27, 2018. She was born on September 18, 1926 in Bloomington, Indiana to Ernest and Dorothy Todd. Christina graduated from Smithville High School. Christina attended Indiana University in Bloomington. She married Samuel E. Gerking, Jr. on June 11, 1949, he precedes her in passing. Christina was a secretary of West Newton Elementary School for several years.
Christina is survived by her children Michael (Vicki) Gerking, Marsha (Larry) Chapman, Anne (George) Biggerstaff, Jr.; 7 grandchildren David, Kristi, Kari, Marcy, Michael, Nyle, Natalie; 11 great-grandchildren Hope, Faith, James Michael David II, Kristoria, Jacob, Isaac, Chloe, Kierstyn, Keenan, Hayley, Samara; and brother John (Sharon) Todd. She is preceded in passing by her parents, husband, daughter Susan Stephens; grandchildren Michelle and Samuel; siblings Donald Todd, Robert Todd, Joyce McGuffey, Dolores Townsend and Linda Tracy.
