Chrissi Pitts, 52, of Lafayette, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her home. She was born December 28, 1969, in Lafayette, to Mary (McCoy) Douglas of Lafayette and the late Michael “Mick” Douglas.
Chrissi graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1988. On March 27, 2012, she married Johnnie Pitts in Las Vegas, NV and he survives. Chrissi was a bartender at Champs Sports Bar for over 30 years. Chrissi enjoyed crafts, writing poetry, and motorcycles. She cared about her family and friends. If you were her friend, you were her family. Her smiles caused many more. Her heart saw the best in all. Love and laughter followed her.
Surviving along with her husband are her children Scott Howard of Monticello, Kelsi (husband Ian) Hart, of Lebanon, TN, stepchildren Alysha (husband James) Banks of Lafayette, Samuel Pitts of Terre Haute, Sarah N. Pitts of Macy, grandchildren Maci, Audrey, Delaney of TN, Brantley, Memphis, July, Kovid, Na’miah, Prince, and JJ.
Also surviving are her siblings Greg (wife Liz) Douglas of TX and Katie (husband Jim) Brown of Mulberry.
