Chris Lane Rigley

Chris Lane Rigley, after many years of ailments incident to kidney disease, passed away peacefully in his home in Ogden on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the age of 65. Chris was born in SLC at St. Mark’s Hospital on September 21, 1951 to Harvey Lane and Letha Brown Rigley, the sixth of seven children. Native to Ogden, UT, he graduated from OHS, attended WSU, and served in the USAF and as a Firefighter at HAFB. As an Elder in the LDS Church, he served as a Young Adult Leader, Instructor, Clerk, and Scout Master. He leaves a great legacy to his family as a beloved and exemplar brother, husband and father. He was married in the Ogden Temple August 30, 1978 to Diane Thompson Rigley. They have four children Jenny, Jeremy (Suzie), Michael (Kimberly) and Mary (Daniel), and four grandchildren Bradley, Noah, Miles, and Corinne. He is survived by his wife, two brothers, Scott and William, four children, and four grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
