Chiyoko Ido McCall lived life to the fullest. Her adventurous spirit kept her busy and she, along with her partner of 59 years, the late Charlie C. McCall, traveled to many parts of the world and within the U.S.

Affectionally called Aunt Orie by her family, Chiyoko, at the age of 91, departed this earthly life and transitioned into Heaven on May 18, 2020. Up until her transition, she freely expressed her opinions, played Bingo with a passion and worked her Sudoku puzzles daily.

Chiyoko was born on July 20, 1928 in Sugamo Ward, Tokyo, Japan. She met and married on February 18, 1951 in Japan, the love of her life, Charlie C. McCall, U.S. Army, Ret.

Chiyoko was a talented artist, skillful seamstress, horticulturist and stylish dresser, who always had a radiant smile.

Chiyoko leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, two sisters, Yoshiko Nakada and Kimiko Yamazaki and their children, Kazuhito and Makoto Nakada and Akane Aoyama and Iwao Yamazaki and their families in Japan; one sister-in-law, Jettie McCall Hogans; nieces, Lindsey Diana Patterson, Velda and Sonya Hogans, LaKay Fayson (Rev. Frankie, Jr.); nephews, H. Laval Harley (Linda), Langston C. Harley (Patricia), Anthony Hogans (Stephanie); great nieces, Nina N., Aquaria and Veronica Harley, Imani and Niara Fayson, Christian and Alexis Hogans; great nephews, Eric, Craig L. and Jason J. Harley, Kaylen, Jacoby and Anthony, Jr. Hogans; her close friend, Kimiyo McCoy in Atlanta, GA and the staff and residents of The Legacy at St. Johns.

To know Chiyoko is to love her.
