Cheryle Valae Tracy Baker passed away on August 6, 2017, her 78th birthday. She was born in Rupert, Idaho to Dorothy Catmull Welch and Bud Mahlon Welch. Her father passed away when she was 3 years old. Her mother then married H. Lester Tracy, who adopted her and sealed the family together.
She graduated from Minico High School in the infamous Class of ‘57 where she was in many operettas and in the Glee Club. Following High School, she attended Weber College in Ogden Utah where she received her degree in Cosmetology and made the President’s List. After graduation, she found a job in Logan Utah where she met Garth Baker. They were married in February of 1960 in the Logan LDS Temple. Their marriage ended in divorce in 1990.
Cheryle was a talented cosmetologist, seamstress and artist.
