Cheryl Lynn Hohimer, 52, of Virginia, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013, at her residence. She was born Sept. 10, 1960, in Havana, the daughter of David Eugene and Phyllis Mibb Hohimer.
She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Phyllis and Mike Tarvin of Okeechobee, FL; her daughter, Mica (Claude) Finn of Springfield; four sisters, Susie (Jamie) Reichert of Virginia, Carylon McNeal and Marylon Walker, both of Springfield, and Beth (Jerry) Lake of Nilwood; two half-sisters, Becky Hohimer of Beardstown and Tammy Hohimer of Patterson Bay; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, including her special aunt, Paulette Hinds of Rochester; caring friend, Jean Finn of Springfield; and longtime companion, Richard Robinson of Auburn. She was preceded in death by her father, David Eugene Hohimer; and half-brother, David Hohimer.
Ms. Hohimer had worked many jobs throughout her life, and was a “jack-of-all-trades”. She was a member of Nilwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and riding motorcycles.
Cheryl loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
