Cheryl Linn (Corbin) Buch peacefully left this world on June 13th 2021, surrounded by her children in a state of pure love after her short battle with stage 4 cancer.
Cheryl was born in Des Moines, IA on February 12, 1956 to LeRoy and Carolyn (Myer) Corbin. One of ten children, she was the first of three girls. She attended McKee Elementary School, Goodrell Middle School and graduated from Tech High School. Cheryl worked as an administrative assistant, as well as other roles, during her long career with the Iowa State Fair.
Cheryl gave a new meaning to the word “mom” caring not only for her three children Holly Buch, Andrew (Mia) Buch, Ashley (Clay) McClellan and her three granddaughters; Willamina, Matilda, and Olivia; but also anyone who was lucky enough to come through her door.
She loved to take mini road trips and was an ice cream connoisseur. Cheryl’s greatest joy was playing and spending time with her granddaughters.
Left to cherish Cheryl’s memory are her 9 siblings LeRoy (Jean E.) Corbin, Rodney Corbin, Randy (Linda) Corbin, Sharon (Jack) Keller, Russel Corbin, Ronald Corbin, Robert (Teresa) Corbin, Deanna Corbin, and Richard (Diana) Corbin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her parents.
