Cheryl “Kay” Newman, 69, of Franklin passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017, in Franklin. She was born on February 26th, 1948, in Auburn, Indiana, to her parents, William and Bonnie (Platter) Gulick.
The bulk of Kay’s career was spent at the Los Alamos National Labratory. Kay enjoyed computer programming, gardening and doing crafts. She also loved to snow ski.
She is survived by her two sons, Patrick (Melissa) Newman of Bloomington and Scott (Jennifer) Newman of New Mexico, one brother, Butch Gulick of Auburn, nine grandchildren: Ashley Pratt, Kayla, Dylan, RyLee, and Landyn Newman and Scott (Scooter), Jaryn, Shawn, and Sarah Newman, and one great-grandchild.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bonnie Gulick.
